Welcome to the episcopal church of the Annunciation!

Episcopal Church of the Annunciation is a Christian congregation in the Anglican tradition centered in Jesus Christ our Lord, which seeks to express its love for God through regular public worship, mutual love and care among its members, and Christian outreach to its surrounding community.

Church of the Annunciation has offered worship and service to God in the Anglican tradition to Newport, Cocke County and surrounding area since it began in 1967 as a mission of the Episcopal Diocese of Tennessee. We have been a self supporting parish church of the Diocese of East Tennessee since 1998.
